Make your own dryer balls

Dryer balls are used in the dryer as an eco-friendly alternative to dryer sheets. They help soften clothes, prevent static cling and reduce drying time. For reducing drying time, you usually need multiple balls, 3+ works best.

If made well, dryer balls will last a VERY LONG TIME. They shouldn’t fall apart or wear out.  You can “re-energize” them by washing them in warm water with no soap and then place in the dryer with a load of clothes.

Wool dryer balls can only be made from wool. To felt wool, you need 3 things, water, agitation and heat.

You can make 1 average size ball or 2 standard/smaller with this kit. To make 2 divide the wool into 2 sections.
