Handcrafted here in the store, from rendering to labeling, with local bison tallow, goat milk and my ever popular body cream recipe.

I am excited to incorporate bison tallow in this wonderfully thick, smooth and creamy hand & body cream made with goat milk too. A small amount goes a long way! Great for whole body use.

Bison Tallow:

Nutritional Content for Skin: Bison tallow contains a higher proportion of omega-3 fatty acids compared to beef tallow, which is more saturated fat-heavy. Omega-3s have anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe irritated or sensitive skin, potentially making bison tallow more beneficial for conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or acne-prone skin. It also has slightly higher levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which may support skin cell regeneration and hydration, though evidence is limited.
Texture and Absorption: Bison tallow is softer and less waxy than beef tallow at room temperature due to its lower saturated fat content. This makes it easier to apply and allows it to absorb more readily into the skin, providing a smoother, less greasy feel.
Vitamin and Nutrient Profile: Rich in fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E, and K, which nourish and protect the skin. Bison tallow tends to have a slight edge in vitamin E and beta-carotene content when compared to beef tallow. These compounds act as antioxidants, helping to combat free radical damage and promote skin repair.

HOW TO USE

Use a small amount (think pea size), massage into skin. Can be used from head to toe!

Unscented - Just that, no scent

Porch Swingin - Bright, flirty & happy. Not too fruity, not too floral, just right. Sweet clementine, peach, freesia and soft violet ending with cashmere and amber.

Blueberry Sugar - Elevated, feel-good. Blueberry, lychee, white jasmine, rosemary with sugar milk and soft musk.

Lavender Tea - Warm tea with a hint of lavender. Lemon, tartness, tea, floral, dry musk and lavender.
