The Smude family has been producing some of Minnesota's finest sunflower products for over a decade. We depend on pollinators to help our sunflower crop season after season, so it seemed a natural choice to launch into the world of honey. We hope you enjoy this rich, natural honey made from our very own sunflowers!

The term “raw honey” means it came straight from the hive, and was strained to remove the honeycomb, beeswax, and natural debris. Raw honey is not filtered. Filtered honey goes through a process where it is heated and then rapidly cooled. This prevents it from crystallizing, but the heat also kills most of the enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, and removes most of the pollen.

In keeping with Smude's all-natural mission, we never use any artificial flavors or additives.
